To Hell... not back yet

This abomination we call weather down here NEEDS to be mentioned.

Is it just me, or did people feel as though they were wading through foggy-lava?? Even at 5PM, I was walking home and, By George, the heat was trying to literally shove itself into my system!! The HOTTEST day in a DECADE- yes, that's 10 Years for the laymen who don't know.

Sheesh, I may as well have taken a swim through the swamps of HELL (have yet to emerge)... there's NO WAY I can survive this heat.

Bugger me, it's gotta be at least 45 degrees C!!
Anyone for Flynn Filet (that'll be Freshly Fried too!!)??
Well, that's how it is- I'm so cooked, you could eat me!!

And just to reinfrce the idea of a hot, HOT, HOT day, I've typed in red :D.
Aren't I brilliant? :P

PS- And there's the small matter of my turning 19 today, which I would rather not have because I liked being 18... and in a limbo, of sorts. Drat- why did I have to become older??!! :( :S

Happy B-Day! Yeay you are 19 now (don't exactly know why you should be happy, but then again...maybe because you've survived this long is a cause for celebration?)

P.S. I agree, it was a hellish day today. I felt as if I was in the middle of the Sahara desert or Alice Springs, not in Sydney! It was a dinkey-di scorcher, mate... apparently the hottest day in a decade!

P.S. I've given up on blogging for the time being...maybe I'll write a few lines from BD!

Those scooby string thingos have 2 b the most annoying things ever created by man!!!!!!! AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!! This little kid came over and cudnt stop talking abt this latest hype. I'd rather knit. At least it has a more practical outcome!

Yes, it was hot hot hot yesterday! But dont worry flynn deary, its a good start 2 being 19, which might i say is quite deppressing 4 me 2 even think abt, as i, like u flynn, miss being 18!

ASH!!
I can't believe it! You're telling Ishi & Emu to keep an eye (no- BOTH eyes)on ME???
Oh yes, write from BD... if you can.

And *groan*... I can't believe you lot are wishing me Happy Birthday... did you not notice that even my sisters forgot... and that I would rather still be 18?? I really, really, REALLY miss being 18- it was the PERFECT age for Flynn.

Speaking of Flynn... I also can't fathom why nobody would want Flynn Filet.
:P

PS- about that 19 degrees... dear god, bring it on!!
I really want it to be subzero temperatures, so that I can don more and more layers without "feeling the heat" (to put it mildly).

aw flynn, stop compalaining and get on with being 19. it's not too bad; i'v been living it for the past .... almost 1 yr.

If you ask me, a decent meal involves pasta, pasta sauce and maybe some cheese & an oven.

By the way Emu, how is cooking related to Flynn and being 19?

PS- I leave you to figure out who I am. It's too easy.

Em- that DP of yours looks a bit like a character from the Japanese alphabet (Hiragana)... is it?
Or is it something you drew when you were 5 yrs old??
:P

LAUNDRY!!
Almost a yr older, Emu?? Shouldn't I start calling you Emu Apu, now?? Lol! :P
Decent meal,Emu? I didn't know you could cook at all :P Ok- ok, much sorry-ness... I'm only kidding.

Do forgive... just couldn't resist the temptation to have a go at you... given the perfect opportunity :D

yesh , that'sh right fish. it'sh Emu apu to you....it doesn't have a nice ring to it though. i'm more used to ইমা দিদি (if u can read that).

fish, is there anyone else among us apart from u that knows japanese?

come to think of it, i can cook a decent meal. but i'd rather choose not to.

Damn! I guess the rambling gave it away. (Sorry, I couldn't help trying out the message-board-thing... I was just mucking around).
And I know it's not an "L". I just thought that if it wasn't Japanese, it might be an "L" that you attempted to "draw" when you were 5/6 yrs old :P.
And yes, I did learn Japanese (very, very little), and would LOVE to continue learning... & move to Japan (even if for only 5/6 yrs), but that's another story...

And Emu, "Didi" just doesn't cut it for me... can you imagine me saying that?? And Dagz/Nemo knows Japanese (less than myself, but a little nonetheless).

I love Jap caligraphy... it's so awesome.

Oh, please don't get me started on Jap... I'll ramble on forever and ever and ever...

Hmm... nihonophile... very clever word, that is. Is it an actual word, or did yo simply derive it from "Nihon"? I'm guessing by Nihonophile, you mean something along the lines of "a fan of Japan".

Oh, yes, and I did do some Kanji... the simple characters like school, mountain, pen, map, the different titles for different family members (eg- Okaasan, Onisan, etc, etc) & a few other things... I can't remember all of it. Actually, I think I've forgotten the better part of whatever I was taught :(

Hmph! Insulting the ever so overused OMG... its overuse is well justified, I believe.
There's no replacement for OMG in an OMG-situation.

Anyway, back to helping my Dad pack for Ash.

Shall update soon folks.

Cheers & g'night!

Golly, if Flynn were to divulge ALL her secrets, there would be no mystery, now would there??

:D

It's very simple actually...

flynn.t said...

Note the difference, because I can do both...lol.

I can't believe nobody else picked it up before.
